Abdul Azeez Halidu popularly known as Zee World passed on yesterday, November 30th, 2014 after a long battle with cancer which affected his music career for a long time. Zeeworld was known for his hit single Tentebo and worked with the likes of Terry G, Reminisce, Skales, YQ amongst others before cancer struck him down. His mom, Madam Halidu is said to have spent over N4m solely on him since last year that the battle began and she is said to be inconsolable right now. Zee World was 34. F oremost producer, writer, director and a leading player in the Nigerian motion picture industry, Amaka Igwe has passed on. She died last night April 28th in Enugu after an asthma attack. Mrs Igwe had gone to Enugu in company of her husband for pre-production preparations for a new Igbo soap when the sad incident occurred. She suffered an asthma attack and was immediately rushed to the hospital after initial intervention had failed but sadly died before getting there.  Mrs Igwe is survived by her husband of 21 years Charles Igwe, three children, an aged mother. So sad! May her soul rest in peace...amen. B orn Amaka Isaac-Ene, the deceased was an accomplished writer, producer, director, entrepreneur and teacher. She is the founder of BoBTV Expo, founder and CEO of Top Radio 90.9FM, Amaka Igwe Studios, and the newly-launched Q Entertainment Networks.

  After weeks of bickering that would have torn apart one of Africa’s music powerhouses, P-Square -twin brothers, Peter and Paul Okoye, and their elder brother/manager, Jude ‘Engees’ Okoye-, news coming from their homestead indicates that peace has returned to the once united family.

During the week, a message posted by Judith Mazagu (aka Afrocandy) went viral because the message was a plea to her fans for help: “I’m a single mother of two well-behaved, intelligent smart girls. I moved from Africa in 2005 to join their father who abandoned us after one year of living together. Since then, I’ve been struggling on my own without support from any particular person – except some friends that help out sometimes. I’m not on welfare; (I) don’t get child support and not on employment. I am highly talented; I write songs and scripts, edit, produce and even direct. All I need is an opportunity to be discovered.

Her name is Ayomide Atinuke and she is one crazy fan of OBO. And although she got a re-tweet from Davido himself, she got no love from the folks on Twitter who blasted her for getting the tattoo. See photo below:
