Pa Kasumu may return to action soon

Fans and friends of veteran actor, Kayode Odumosu, who is widely known as Pa kasumu, may begin to see their star actor in movies once again if the latest report emerging from the camp of The Movie Ambassador is anything to go by.


Pa Kasumu, as he’s fondly called by his admirers, has been reportedly down with a kidney problem, which has kept the actor out of movie for more than a year. His health condition was said to have deteriorated to the extent that he could not move around just as his vision was said to have been affected by the ailment.

It was gathered that Lagos State governor, Babatunde Raji Fashola and his counterpart from Ogun State, Senator Ibikunle Amosun were said to have raised the needed 3.5 million naira that was said to have been needed for a surgery that would improve his health condition.

 His doctor was said to have advised Kasumu to seek proper medical attention abroad, but a family source was said to have denied the report claiming that Pa kasumu’s health condition did not require that he be flown abroad before he could be treated.

The newly elected executives of TMA who paid a visit to Pa Kasumu in his residence have now assured his fans that Pa Kasumu is making fast progress on his journey to recovery.
The president of TMA, Saheed Balogun, who disclosed this during the week said that “ We visited him and we are happy that he’s recuperating well. I am sure Baba will be joining us at locations very soon by God’s grace. He told us he could not wait to return to shooting movies again and he thanked well meaning Nigerians who came to his rescue”, he said.
